Let's get real for a moment—Tim Recht isn't actually my real name. Now, you might be wondering, "How can I trust this guy to capture one of the most sacred and important events of my life when I don't even know his real name?"

Let me fill you in: My name is Tim Engelbrecht, it's a mouthful, I know! You probably can't even pronounce it let alone spell it, don't worry... neither can I!

My journey into the world of wedding photography began in 2014, when a mate of mine roped me into photographing his wedding simply because I owned a camera. I charged him $500, only to spend $600 on hiring the necessary gear, leaving me with a grand net profit of -$100. I must have done something right because his sister soon asked me to capture her big day too.

Realising I was onto something, I took the plunge and started a wedding photography and videography studio. It quickly blossomed into a thriving team, shooting over 120 weddings a year and garnering over 200 five-star reviews.

After nine years of running the studio, I had an epiphany. I realised that what truly matters is providing an end-to-end personalised experience. So, I decided to go solo, eager to flex my creative muscles and offer something unique. My mission is to deliver an unforgettable, fun, and flawless photography experience for each and every couple I work with.
